Television For Dogs

Feel guilty when you leave the house no more!

The Dog Companion series is a set of DVD's designed specifically for dogs that are left alone in the house for long hours ( such as the time it takes you to go to work, hate work, be bored with work and come back home).

Just don't expect to be able to have a nice movie night. They have no specific plot, and the camera angles and content are arranged with the dog's point of view in mind.

Pushing Daisies Scores Cool Points

Who loves Pushing Daisies on Wednesdays on ABC? I DO! In case you missed this week's show, especially you dog-lovers, you really missed out. This show is about a man named Ned whose first touch can bring the dead back to life, but one more means they go back to being dead-forever!

This week's episode was all about dog breeders and their dogs. A breeder had created the ultimate cross breed between a collie, a labrador, a russell, and a pomapoo, or "Coll-A-Dor-Russell-A-Poo." Kind of a mouthful huh? I guess that's why the dog's name on the show was Bubblegum! In case you dog lovers aren't already setting your Tivo, one of the first people that Ned brought back to life was his childhood dog "Digbee."

But I have to admit, episodes on network TV don't have enough dogs in them ( except for the human kind). So to get your dog TV fix click here for the latest episode of Planet-Pets TV and the Haute Dog Pageant.
