When: The Midland's Creative Spirit Center is currently accepting paintings, drawings, sculpture, photographs and mixed media works until Monday June 9. Entry is through an e-mail attachment in .jpg format or a mailed photograph.

''With this exhibit we will honor the deep connection between people and their pets,'' says Sarah Gorman, creativity director at the center. ''And we also will highlight the simple joy and playfulness the pets remind us to keep in our lives.''
Accompanying the exhibition will be a variety of pet-related activities such as: a photo shoot, dancing dogs, pet visits and competitions.
